Mamma Mia! Next season, HBO’s Big Love will be minus one Henrickson. Following her success in 2008′s “Mamma Mia!,” Amanda Seyfried, who has played Bill Paxton’s eldest child, Sarah, since the polygamist drama debuted in 2006, is embracing her Hollywood ‘It girl’ status to pursue films full-time.
“She’s been exploring her movie career for a couple of years now, and we’ve been giving her a lot of room to do that,” says Big Love creator Will Scheffer. “I know having a commitment to a show for six months definitely cuts into her ability to pursue that career.”
As a result, the series is allowing Seyfried to leave at season’s end. In the eighth episode of this season’s nine new installments, Sarah will leave the flock, Scheffer confirms. “She’s moving away.”
But before then, she’ll have plenty to do in Utah. As I previously reported, her character will be getting married in the third episode, which causes some drama involving her disappointed parents, Bill (Paxton) and Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn).
Seyfried, who got her start on the daytime soaps As The World Turns and All My Children, has been hotly pursued by film producers ever since winning the role of Meryl Streep’s daughter in “Mamma Mia!” This year, she starred with Megan Fox in Diablo Cody’s “Jennifer’s Body,” and had the title role in the Liam Neeson/Julianne Moore drama, “Chloe.” Upcoming starring roles include Lasse Hallstrom’s “Dear John,” “Letters to Juliet” with Gael Garcia Bernal and “A Woman of No Importance,” based on Oscar Wilde’s play.
Big Love’s fourth season premieres on HBO January 10.

As previously reported, Big Love has major plans in the works for Alby on season four.
Those developments will largely center around Dale Tomasson, the character’s new love interest on the HBO hit. Played by Benjamin Koldyke, Dale is a closeted Mormon who is part of the hierarchy for the United Effort Brotherhood.
HBO has released the first two photos of Koldyke in this role, as it’s unclear just how he’ll impact the life of Big Love’s villainous Alby.
But this much is certain: when season four debuts on January 10, we’ll be tuned in to find out!

Chloe Sevigny is dating funnyman actor Jason Segel, according to gossips who spotted them snuggling up at a Emmys afterparty.

Amanda Seyfried grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania and began modeling at 11. She attended William Allen High School and while in her teenage years started acting on daytime television. The wide-eyed actress starred as Lucinda Marie in As the World Turns in 2000 and as Joni Stafford in All My Children from 2002 to 2003.
Following high school graduation, Seyfried was to attend Fordham University in New York; however, she put her education on hold when she landed her breakthrough role as Karen Smith, a member of the ditsy “plastics” in Mean Girls (2004).
